Making an organization’s website easier to understand
Visitors arrive with a task: check a service, compare options, find a person, or understand an organization’s work. Start by collecting those questions from the teams who speak with customers every day. Then make sure the navigation and page copy answer them directly.
A polished design cannot rescue vague language. Replace broad claims with what the organization does, who it serves, and what a visitor can do next. Give important details a stable place so people do not have to search several pages.
Measure whether visitors complete the tasks the site is meant to support. That might be a qualified inquiry, a form submission, or finding a document—not just page views.
