When React Native fits a mobile app
React Native can be a practical choice when iOS and Android apps share most of their screens and workflows. It does not remove the need to test on both platforms. Navigation, permissions, notifications, camera access, and payments can behave differently.
Before committing to the stack, list the device features the app needs and build a small test around the hardest one. That is more useful than deciding from a framework comparison alone.
Plan for updates and support after release. Shared code can reduce repeated work, but the team still has two app stores and two device ecosystems to manage.
